It's not domination that makes it interesting or boring for me. It's close, action packed racing that makes it - and F1 is still lacking that. The DRS makes for more overtaking, but not seat of your pants close overtaking (ala Mansell and Senna in Monaco and Spain). More pulling out and flying past.
I don't think that you can say the RBR is not the best car this year - I think that Webber has had some back luck in the races but saying that shouldn't detract from his skill... It does seem more fragile than the others though.
As for the shuey era, the lack of racing (epitomised by the A1 farce) is what made that boring, not the domination!
