@Shirley - what a fantastic idea! Hadn't thought of it like that. It would mean more variety in strategy if different cars went to different extremes and very exciting racing. Personally I'm ambivalent about the "use both types of tyre" rule at the moment, I preferred it when there were two tyre suppliers. But then I also liked refuelling too. To be fair to Pirelli, before the season started there were conspiracy theories saying as an Italian firm they would make tyres that suited Ferrari which hasn't been the case. But yes, they would never, EVER say "oh yes, we've chosen these tyres because one team like them". Bit of a non-story really!
