It was Montezemolo's RRA idea that brought in the ban on in-season testing, but now his team is being beaten he wants to change it ... Of course having a 2.5% extra schedule 10 payment would help his team afford more testing than his rivals.
Why doesn't he buy a junior team like STR, instead of wanting to fill the grid up with compliant drivers in second string Ferraris, or would the degree of independence a junior team would have not fit in with the team orders plan.
But then again mad Monty does think F1 fans spend Sunday afternoons at the beach ... I wonder what colour the sky is on Monty's planet.
