Though I ponder how much the kurb had to do with the outcome due to no one else being affected when they ran over it, I would still be more inclined to think Vettel's Tyre Pressures were too low and the tyre just slipped off the bead going around T2.. It has happened to me before in karting on an opening lap and that was with about 1G going through the tyre, imagine that happening with about 3 times the load going through then it makes that theory plausable! In reality though, we will probably never find out because there was no tyre left to analyse!
