:S Would someone mind explaining to me how?? This will have the exact opposite effect on over-taking! When you are in the dirty air of someone, you normally find the car is understeery because there is less air pushing against the car!
In 2009, wider front tyres - more oversteery cars, the cars stayed closer together and overtaking was possible (no DRS and only 2 teams using KERS really). 2010.... narrower front tyres.... how many passes did we see in comparison to 2009?
The only reason the races this year have been interesting has been due to un-predictability and "additional help" i.e. tyre degredation - "falling off the cliff" - this made stratagies more open which lead to some interesting racing e.g. battles of people on new and old tyres - they were running their own race so you didn't know what was going to happen until th
