South Africa was considered a largely safe country to visit, but was (rightly) ostracised during the anti-apartheid days. Even the GP was excluded from after the '85 race to the end of '91. The situation in Bahrain seems similar - the repression of one portion of the population. As for agendas, from reading all the posts, it seems clear that at least one person here has a very definite agenda.....
