@herowassenna You're probably right. Although, I don't remember Williams setting the headlines last Year, but I'll trust your memory over mine. But Renault were at the front and of course carried that form into the first few races of the year before going backwards. McLaren were also making headlines for being slow and unreliable and it was only a complete rethink that allowed them to be competitive in Australia. Reading the BBC report, they use the fact that Maldanado is top proves that testing time are a waste of time. My disguised point was that the professional commentators Crash, Autosport et al have just almost ignored the fact without passing any comment. It should deserve a comment like the BBC's or some opinion if they have genuine pace or not. Autosport have a team down there with the purpose of feeding us news and this is potentially a big one - it deserves comment.
