Did they say they wanted to be a second ahead of everyone else?
It is impossible to tell at this stage either way if they are, I'd say its pretty safe to assume that they are not a second faster, more like a couple of tenths slower if anything. Its not as if they have taken any huge design risks and come up with some game changing device, like Brawn and Red Bull did to get their pace. They have just come up with a pretty normal car with a few like design risks. Its a solid strategy but it will take them a few years to be a really competitive team again.
