I understand if the reason would be that now it's his privateer team on its own again, while before it was pretty much the BMW factory team with Sauber in its name. However, he's talking about Lewis taking out Kimi in the pit straight etc...
I understand what this place means to Sauber financially, but I'm kinda surprised he's THIS happy with a 2nd place from a competitive point of view, especially seeing as though Perez could/should have won the race. The Sauber team has had a brace of podium finishes (3rds, but still) before so why is this 2nd place such a big deal now?
Don't get me wrong it was a great result and apart from that small msitake by Perez a great drive, but a win would have meant so much more, IMO.
