There is a saying "What's good for the Goose is good for the Gander" Last year the RBR was under scrutiny and it was ok with pretty much everybody, that is not a Horner or Vettel fan. This year it's Mercedes turn, next year it will be somebody else. It's not good for the sport but it is the reality.
While the Merc is not on pace now, if they sort out the car the improved balance in the DRS zone and more importantly coming out of the DRS zone may be a big advantage.
If I were a competing team, I would be asking if it is legal before I spent any resources attempting to implement it on my car.
Really, if they all just came out and raced whatever they built and didn't challenge the rules, what would we talk about?
