Those things have nothing to do with it though. We know that HRT have very limited resources, so if this could mean that they climb one place higher in the ranking that would be a substantial gain to them. Why would they not pursue this? They need more resources to stay alive, let alone to develop. What do you think they should do? Quit? Quitters don't become winners. Read up on your F1 history before you make comments like these, you could learn a lot there. The first year Williams did in F1 they entered a customer March chassis which was outdated, slow and failed to score a single point. From that they somehow managed to win several world titles.
Might I also add, legal battles are not about who has the most money FFS. WTF does their budgets have to do with it? If there was an infraction of rights then they should be punished, regardless of whether they have more money then FIF1 and HRT!
