@Talpa, I have no doubt in your observations regarding unrest or protests as an F1 personnel, logic would prevail in that all F1 personal are restricted from venturing out of the safety net and most likely you would have very little time as personal to do any exploring other that making the observations you made from the airport to your hotel to the circuit are restricted to venture out.
