DTN he's 35 now which limits his options a bit more. If he goes to Ferrari next year and they only give him the one, where next? He'd more like hang up his helmet as he's said many times he doesn't want to tool around in lesser machinery. Don't kid yourself that if he's performing they would have to keep him. They are ruthless and if there was another driver they wanted he'd be out.
On the other hand if he stays at Red Bull, Helmut Marko will be doing all he can to make sure next year is his last. By that time even if he wants to drive for Ferrari, that ship will most likely have sailed, so it's a bit of a conundrum.
The only other vague possibility would be Mercedes if Schumacher doesn't go around again. Two sticking points there, Schu will probably have to be dragged out by his ears, and Di Resta seems the heir apparent.
Unlike other experts (drips under pressure) around here, I'm not making any predictions.
