If they were serious about conserving non-renewable resources they would look at limiting the number of transporters used to carry the cars parts and probably most importantly (to the sponsors) the hospitality suites. Mercedes currently uses 22 for example. It's hard to take KERS seriously as an attempt to be "green" when huge amounts of resources are used to giver the elite the fine dining and comfort they require while totally ignoring the carbon footprint it creates. Dump KERS and give up any pretense to environmental issues, it's obvious the wealthy don't give a damn as long as they have their perks.
