Bernie is right on this one. KERS is rubbish. And F1 is about internal combustion engine racing at the pinnacle. Can anyone explain to me why on earth we are trying to pretend that F1 can be green? It is the ONE thing that should be excluded and exempt from ANY "green" technology. Thats the idea. Leave these 20 or 24 cars alone. Let us revel in what the sport was originally about. I mean they've already taken away the most interesting aspect of F1, engine development, so why put up with this BS? There are other formulae for electric vehicles, no? I'm all for an electric vehicle race. In fact I'm not at all opposed to "green" tech. Indeed, a true electric vehicle "F1" could be as interesting as F1.
But please, leave OUR F1 alone and let it be what it was meant to be!
