Alonso is correct: it is great entertainment but it's not what F1 is suppose to be about. I welcome this "breath of fresh air" competitiveness after two decades of predictability. Yet F1 must not lose sight of its reason for being. I've always had the option of switching to CART or NASCAR if I wanted more competitiveness. F1 needs to make sure it doesn't lose it's balance. Otherwise it will be no better than its North American cousins. Ease up on the car regulations to give more freedom for innovation and review the tyre situation. It is entertaining but gives the impression of being artificially created.
