Ah nostalgia. Schumi back at Ferrari next year would just confirm what we are all witnessing. He is not a great driver and never was. He had a dominant car, a dominant team and for many years no decent drivers to compete with. Life as a racer back in his Ferrari years was easy. Much has changed and we are now seeing the results. Ferrari is not a dominant car and there are some top class drivers on the grid. He will retire this year with his reputation in tact because Merc have their reliability issues. Alonso would expose Schumi for the average driver that he is. Schumi at Ferrari? Just substitute Massa'a race results and you can see the outcome. I would bet my house on it.
