Although this is not good news, in the greater scheme of things, if this is as bad as it gets then overall it is good news. Fact is she is lucky to be alive. The loss of an eye is not the end of her racing career, there are other avenues for her. Zanardi of course raced WTC for years despire being technically "disabled". So whilst it is "bad news", at 10.30am yeterday morning it is a result that probably everyone would have taken. Oli
