@Ranger - you say that Perez is not ready yet and prima facie I would agree, however let's think about this... It's not a stretch to say that the Sauber C31 is inferior to the Ferrari F2012, yet Perez has two podium finishes to Massa's zero. Obviously, this doesn't mean absolutely that Perez is a superior driver to Massa, though a strong argument can certainly be mounted that Perez is a worthy replacement. There's no reason a driver HAS to come through a smaller team with wins under his belt to get a top drive. McLaren did it with Hamilton in 2007 and that worked out pretty well. Just musing...
