Taipan can't be taken too seriously on the subject of Hamilton, he's just trying to stir people up. I think I get on alright with Taipan in the brief exchanges we have, even if I have different opinions on Lewis because there's no need to rise to the bait and generally speaking he knows his stuff.
As far as Hamilton goes, at the age of 28 Schumacher and Alonso both had two titles and over 20 race wins. Hamitlon will be 28 by the start of next season so there's a target... if Mclaren improve.
Having said that, Mclaren struggled in Valencia and Silverstone last year before winning in Germany (different track I know) and Hungary so there's still hope.
In my honest opinion Hamilton at his best has too much than Button if the car isn't perfect, like right now. I would say that this has been in some ways Lewis' most impressive year in terms of how he's done with his car, Valencia aside there have been no big incidents and he genuinely is improving all the time.
