Lets not forget that all the F1 teams can test the new tires in pre-season testing. Pirelli has also brought new tires to several GPs this season so all the teams can test them. So why do they need a test team at all? Just expand what they are already doing this season. Istil think Pirelli is posturing to prevent Michelin coming back to F1. The two-compound race tire allotment is a Bridgestone legacy, aterrible one, and should be dropped for being wasteful and manipulative and unsafe.
