I don't know about you guys but where I come from, the electricity coming out of my sockets (hydro and wind, which are renewable) is a lot cleaner and has a much lesser impact than the power my car produces (fossil fuel). "We expect this championship to become the framework for research and development around the electric car, a key element for the future of our cities" That sounds brilliant to me. Honestly, I can't get over the number of ppl here who ENJOY pollution. Old farts talk about political agendas, which is actually an ironic argument as everyone in the UK/US is brainwashed by the oil companies' agenda of the past 100 years. What did BP make last quarter? As for me, beyond global warming, I just don't like filth and oil and fumes coming out the back of trucks and cars and having to breath that in as I walk to work. Call me crazy.
