Dazza, it is racing, but even racing has a certain etiquette.. Grumpy puts it correctly. My experience is club bike racing, and yes, riders still sort these things out behind the scenes. You cannot have riders/racers who have a flagrant disregard for the safety of fellow competitors. Accidents will still happen because racing involves exploring the limits, but no dumb ass moves please.
