Richard what planet am I from sorry are aliens not allowed an opinion ! The point I made on the engine was just a suggestion the main point of the post being things aren't always obvious when bernie is concerned. Having said that I think ur argument holds little merit. We are talking about a 1.6 litre engine with advanced engine recovery not really Ferrari usual area of expertise (maybe fiat helped whoops). Its not just power the key is in the delivery, just look at the problems the merc cars have had with the tires plus all the problems Renault have had with alternator and kers, and how long have they been running this engine spec. Anyhow back to my point bernie makes outlandish suggestions so when the changes he actually wants look ok in comparison it's a show a he is the ringmaster...
