I must admit that I've had a bit of an up-and-down relationship with Raikkonen as an F1 fan. To me, he has only ever seemed to have put his heart into driving an F1 car when he thought he had a chance for a win. Basically, it seemed that he always gave up a bit too easily.
But this season, I think I had to change my view. I admit that I'm surprised that he's right in the middle of the title fight, despite not winning a race yet. He not only hasn't given up, he's pushed that Renault to its limit. Kimi is not my favourite driver, but I for one would not complain if he somehow managed to take the title this season. Both he and Alonso have clearly been the stars of this season as far as I'm concerned...
