I had Raikonnen pegged for ending 4th in the WDC this season. I'm not at all surprised at his performance as the cars today are actually close to the 2008 spec again. He (and Ferrari) got hammered by the double diffuser, then he skipped the engine map enabled blown diffuser era completely, which puts him back into a KERS car with an added DRS gadget. The only significant change is the junk they run for tires, and lack of refueling strategy. The real question looking ahead, is whether he is a match to Vettel who was a relative newbie the last time Kimi raced, Alonso, who seems to be enjoying his run with Ferrari as much as his Renault days - which is a bit of irony, and Hamilton in his closing days with McLaren. The differences among these 4 is very very small, and dependent on track and conditions more than skill set.
