Monaco, Spa, Silverstone, Monza and Suzuka do have configurations that make it more likely for first lap fracas, Grosjean may have been involved in most of them this year but he's far from being the only or the first one.
BTW, Romain did not really lack pace if you looked at the live timing during the race...Maybe that's what saves his seat and maybe also that's what his opponents use his woes for psy ops motives...
Even if he improves, he'll still make a couple of errors and the dossier of his earlier incidents will always somewhere around...Let's hope for him that things get better because I think that if 2013 is as difficult, Lotus will indeed lose patience.
That said, journalists and observers should try to be as objective as possible when an incident occurs and not tend to exaggerate and stretch facts because of RG's past.
