@mark from TO: Honda's departure was not shameful at all. They did not leave an empty spot on the grid and basically they designed the whole chasis (there was an article here at "crash" that honda put a lot of money on that chasis) and it was one of the best chasis that year. As I read, that car was tested on six different wind tunnels. Plus it went and won that years drivers and constructors championship (with help of mercedes engine, I agree).
Maybe you meant Toyota and BMW
