Hamilton was the bright sun of Maclaren a few years back but with Dennis removed it seems MW has not been able to maintain the relationship. A poster above alluded that had MW enthused over Lewis's other driving this year than over this solitary point in Korea, he may well of stayed.
Personally, I believe that Maclaren are brilliant and unbelievably rubbish sometimes in the same race with one or the other driver. It's not reliable. Their strategy is never watertight, their pit stops are sublime to ridiculous and the car has seen several failures of late. Driver error? Undoubtedly on some things but when the the pit wall doesn't know it's left from right, it can have a contagious effect.
