Of the current drivers, only Alonso has 'so far' proven (for many years) that he has what it takes to possibly earn the title "great" in the future. Vettel has so far only won in a great car(the same goes for Hamilton).
I hate it when people say Alonso won it in an inferior car, we are talking about the same Benatton that won back to back construction title, does it occur to people that the new rules then favoured those who are not on bridegstone tyres? OK if Alonso did it in an inferior car, then why cant he do it in a superior car like the McLaren and Ferrari
