That seems to be the reason for stopping the car and was accepted by the stewards. However, they also checked for fuel level and it was found to be insufficient. This may or may not be as a result of the fuel feed problem. It matters not. The rules state there has to be a certain amount at least, and there wasn't. The cars do run with minimum fuel, but that is not mandatory and it is the teams who are wholly responsible for the amount of fuel loaded.
