You have to say that Kimi is a refreshing change from the stage managed bull5hit that F1 and it's drivers have become.
Indeed he finds little joy in racing or winning on the surface I do wonder if it's just a silent rebellion. Lotus isn't and never was the Lotus team in the same way that Lotus cars isn't the same as when Colin Chapman was in charge or how the BMW mini isn't a real mini. Kimi and, to a lesser degree, Fernando do seem to be the only real characters in the paddock.
At least F1 is interesting again and worth watching. Long may it continue!
