BK, you sound like you've only been watching F1 since 2006. Or like you have no idea of Adrian Newey's core design philosophy (and preference) of speed over reliability over the past 12 to 15 years or so. (Obviously he has now factored in the latter in his more recent designs). How else can you explain the blistering speed of all his McLaren designs that kept getting pole positions in Kimi's hands, but kept breaking down and costing him WDCs? No one is saying Coulthard is as fast as Vettel, but it's also true that Coulthard drove his cars when he switched to RBR and began to alter his design philosophy towards greater reliability along with speed. Are you now implying that Newey designs slow cars like the current Ferrari - and what we are witnessing at the moment is ENTIRELY about Vettel?? Selective memory syndrome is one thing, but trying to re-write history is yet another!
