It appears there may be seats at FI & Williams if Carlos is correct. I'm not sure Sauber would appreciate being told who they choose for a driver, but he makes it sound like a done deal.
Kobayashi has gone back to Japan to decide which sponsors he will accept to back him. By the sounds of it he has had offers from a couple of Japanese companies and from other countries as well.. But he said he would prefer to take Japanese backing because he wants to promote his country.
I think from a commercial point of view Bernie would be keen on keeping Kobayashi in the sport, without him Japanese GP will suffer I have no doubt.
