As long as they maintain the 107% of fastest qualifying time as the cut off for race entry, then I don't see it as any more problematic than having HRT running their cars around the track. There should be a limit of say 5 guest drivers a race. I assume that it would not be obligatory for any team and only teams that saw value in doing it would do so. For me, it would add to the interest to see how highly fancied guest drivers compare. I note that Craig Lowndes drove Jenson Button's McLaren around Bathurst last year and his time was 1 second off Jenson's (after five laps of practice). So with a bit of practice (pre race) there are some outstanding drivers in other series who could step up and surprise.
