This just widens the funding deficit hole as Mercedes have had to spend more money on shares rather than the team. Way to go Lewis - might not be such a dream move. Next season they will probably announce that they are leaving F1 as it will be much easier to negotiate an exit if they hold 100% of the shares, and there have already been a number of rumblings about them reverting to being just an engine supplier as that is the only area they are making any money from and their performances are not exactly attracting any major new sponsors.
