Adding on to the things some have said...
F1 should try and market itself as a different form of racing to US audiences. I mean, Some Americans still thinks Nascar or Indycar is equivalent or superior to an F1 car base on their top speeds !
I was watching the FOTA forum in Austin and Sam Michael when talking about F1 technology, describe an F1 car in every circuit as a new prototype. That is a powerful statement and should be the way F1 markets itself to US audiences.
