Well, the feeder series like GP2 and WSbR are producing young drivers every year and there are still very few available seats in F1 and likely even less next season with the demise of HRT. The combined effects of having such a large pool of potential drivers, few seats, the current financial climate and the cost of running an F1 team give us this kind of result...The irony being that even the GP2 champ won't be able to have an F1 drive... Saving private Kobayashi...but apparently there can't be a team mounted for that like Super Aguri for Sato...Unless some Asian investors buy HRT.
