It's really sad if Kobayashi was not on the grid in 2013. Being Asian driver he has disadvantage in F1. I heard in one occasion David Coulthard said about Japanese driver Kobayashi as no talent driver. Also ex Formula one driver I don't remember the name said Nico Hulkenberg or Paul Di Reseta or Heikki Kovalainen should replace Kobayashi. I don't see Hulkenberg or Reseta or Kovalainen is better and fast driver than Kobayashi. From the point of F1 Fans view, Kobayashi is doing great job and scoring points steadily. Only fault is he does not have good reliable car like Perez car in 2012 but he still tried to finish one podium. If he were European driver and then he will be signed by top team. Current Formula one is really stupid since FIA try to control spending and budget teams pop up and asked exchange money for driver seat. Also if Kobayashi was in Romain Grojean Lotus seat and then the team will kick him out straight away but Romain Grojean can keep his seat next year. Some drivers
