Mercedes sold him short, that team has been an embarrassment. He made more mistakes in the last 3 years but that was probably down to overdriving a crap car, some real highlights worth remembering though, 24th to 5th at Spa last year, the pole at Monaco and podium at Valencia this year, he deserved more but to have a 43 year old competing in modern F1 is incredible and we might not see it again for decades if ever.
