First of all, the guy who suggested McLaren may be fighting with Force India next year? Absolutely laughable. Fact is McLaren do seem to have a very good car for next year. Button and Perez also offer developers a similar style which should make their job somewhat easier. As for people doubting Perez. He's fast and nearly won 2 races already. I call that pretty damn good. Maldonado and Hulkeberg are the only other young guns matching his potential (based on results). If people are wondering why Perez was signed, it isn't about the money. McLaren don't need it. It's because when they signed him, Perez had been a standout performer. Recently he hasn't been quite as good or lucky for that matter but a lot of people are writing off this guy too quickly.
