Nobody likes rules but they are there for a reason to stop cheats gaining advantages.
How can Alonso be called a cheat when he did not break any rules? With formula 1 races being around the 2 hour mark it takes time to investigate any infringement that may have been called during or after the race.
The FIA have rules in place and will in due time thoroughly investigate them although they will have to do so before the 30th November according to their own rules.
It is a sad ending to a thoroughly exciting season but as a fan of the sport I hope that the rules are adhered to strictly, to maintain a level playing field for all the competitors at all times.
