Engine mapping is not the same thing as an exhaust blown diffuser. If RB had "reintroduced an exhaust blown diffuser" after these had been banned, they should - and would - have been docked points. But what actually happened was that RB were cleared of any wrong doing. I repeat, cleared of any wrong doing. You could look it up.
And if RB had been running an exhaust blown diffuser in the first half of the season their car would not have been so poor compared to the rest of the field.
