Richard - I've seen Webber interviewed plenty of times where he makes eye contact, probably just has to do with when you catch him. As for why his car doesn't perform identically to Vettel's, it has a lot to do with setup and weight differences. Webber outweighs Vettel by a large margin, his weight and the distribution of ballast in the car affects its handling. His style of driving is different from Vettel's. His setup with regard to suspension is going to be quite a bit different. In general this season, he's qualified hot on Vettel's heels during most races and out-qualified him in a couple. I think the gap between Vettel and Webber as drivers is not nearly as wide as a lot of Crash commentators and other fans seem to think it is. Yes, Vettel has won championships and he does generally have the edge over Webber with raw speed...but he also has the overwhelming support of his team principal and owner, whereas Webber is clearly cast as "second fiddle" by both men.
