Ah, so the Renault engines were "underpowered" in 2008. Remarkably enough, they promptly became "powerful" again in 2009 at the same instant Vettel started driving them. And Newey's "genius" designs, which had been a flop at Red Bull until then, also suddenly started looking much more geniusey at the same time.
That Vettel guy sure is lucky! Whatever car he steps into just happens - purely by coincidence - to suddenly get much better than it was before.
What's even more amazing is that the Ferrari-engined and Newey designed 2009 STR4 had an absolutely woeful record. Doubtless they were underpowered that year.
