Since GP2 started in 2005, 21 drivers have graduated to F1. Excluding Hamilton, the total F1 wins for all the rest totals 3 out of 877 starts. Not very impressive really.
As a feeder series it hasn't been very successful but it has introduced a great deal more clumsy driving. In the last few years the only new entrants that have looked impressive (regardless of car) have been Alonso, Hamilton and Vettel only one of whom came from GP2. All have been champions though.
Grosjean is just another GP2 jockey with GP2 driving habits.
