It was RB's success which brought every aspect of the RB car design into the spotlight. If they were losing, nothing about the car would merit any special examination. So far their competitors have a poor record in guessing what makes the difference - recall the flap over the "hole in the floor"? The "engine mapping"? The "flexible wing" story has been running for at least a year.
