Bruno is a good driver, but his time in F1 has not shown the kind of special talent that deserves to be there on merit. He's kind of a midfield runner at best in F1.
We can't really say whether or not he'd be any good in DTM. Sure enough, some former F1 drivers have failed miserably there, but then most were past their prime anyway and were probably getting by in F1 on routine (Alesi, Hakkinen, Frentzen, Ralf and DC). Till now there haven't been any younger F1 drivers taking the step back to DTM, so maybe guys like Algy and Senna might surprise us.
Certainly both these guys have their strengths in the race rather than blistering qualifying pace so maybe there skill sets are suited quite well for DTM (although there's not THAT much more overtaking in DTM compared to F1).
