The 2009 Brawn had a huge advantage over their rivals with the double diffuser. Yes, Red Bull did indeed catch up around round 10, but don't overstate how great the RB5 was out of the box, because your assessment is inaccurate. As far as this past seasons results, I believe that Massa showed very good pace when allowed to actually race. His pace displays that the Ferrari was not the terrible car you portray. The McLaren was equally a fine car, only limited by the comedy of errors made in strategy, shunts, and pit stop miscues. I believe your blinkered Red Bull hatred prevents you from seeing the obvious.
