@Dan You cannot be serious? Alonso did less than nothing at Minardi. Not a single glimpse of anything remotely impressive, he turned laps and finished races. I bet you were on the edge of your seat watching Charles Pic circulate this past season, he did as Alonso did afterall. And your assessment of his performance at Renault is an attempt to make the former Benetton team seem like less than a competitive car, it wasn't. Face it, there is nil evidence to support that Ferdi raises anything, he is simply a driver. Vettel took a lower mid pack team and moved it to the high mid pack. He beat the parent team in the process, with the junior team, and did it in a recycled, year old chassis. I think Seb has done more than enough to deserve respect. If a three time World Champion is not respected then why should anyone respect the likes of Alonso, Button, Hamilton, Raikkonen, or anyone else on the grid? They have all achieved less over a longer career, so what is to respect in them?
